 monitor has to be checked every couple of year. when monitor starts breaking Can cause you to have bad head-aches
Strain your eyes
 You have to have a regular break from working on a computer if you have to work on it longer than a hour or around a hour.
You will also get free eye check-ups.

Computer misuse act:



What is the law on this? The Computer Misuse Act 1990 is a piece of law that deals specifically with the crime of accessing or modifying data stored on a computer system without being authorised to do so.

1) Confidentiality.
2) Medical records.
3) Firewalls.
4) Viruses made to protect information.

The health and safety at work act:

also referred to as HSWA, the HSW Act, the 1974 Act or HASAWA

Employees must

1) decide what could harm you in your job. and risk precautions to stop it. This is part of the risk assessment.
2) In a way you can understand explain how risks will be controlled and tell you who is responsible for this.
3) Consult and work with you and your health and safety representatives in protecting everyone from harm in the workplace.
4) Free of charge provide you with any protective equipment and protective clothing you need and ensure its properly looked after.
5) free of charge give you the health and safety training you need to do your job
6) provide toilets washing facilities and drinking water
7) provide adequate first aid facilities
8) Have insurance
This is relevant to us in a class room because of all the wires chairs and tables so if someone does get hurt you can act up one HASAWA and follow the required procedure

Copywright and patents act:

The Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 was introduced to give various rights to a creator of author in relation to how they adapt, use, loan or sell their work to others. 
1) You cant use music videos photos or anything done by a other person if it has a  copywright mark the only way you could use it is if you got their permision
